A set of Loki season two set photos have surfaced on Twitter and fans were quick to spot some of the Easter Eggs that appear to introduce a new superhero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In one of the photos, there appears to be a fictional movie poster with the title, Phone Ranger, which was spotted on set of the second season in London. The poster features a new hero wearing a helmet that appears to be in a shape of a rotary telephone with the slogan that reads, “Criminals, he’s got your number.” Additional information on the poster sees the that film is produced by “Goodman Productions” and stars “Charles Theobald” as Phone Ranger. The original co-creator of the Phone Ranger, Kurt Busiek, took to Twitter to respond to the poster and seems to confirm the series’ use of his and James Fry’s character.
Phone Ranger, aka AG Bell, first appeared as a telephone repairman who discovers technology that can be used to communicate with any piece of communicative device. The character was introduced in Marvel Age Annual #1. In another vintage movie poster revealed on the set of Loki, fans noticed that one of them confirmed Brad Wolfe aka The Zaniac’s appearance in the second season. In a closer look, Kumail Nanjiani’s Eternals character Kingo also appears to be featured as a famous Bollywood star.
It remains to be seen how all these come together to create season two of Loki. The first season is now available on Disney+

I assume James and I will not be getting a Special Thanks for a background gag, but I appreciate the effort and if there are by any chance multiple copies of that poster James should get one (and I would gladly accept a copy too).
